Animation Theme

This is the theme of your appeal display. You can choose from the different themes based on what your organization would like to have. 

Note: The thermometer and Gauge come with a transparent background, so you can use some of the default backgrounds or upload your own. Click here to view the different themes. 

Background Element 

This setting allows you to choose which background image to display on your appeal display. The background is only available for the Thermometer or Gauge theme. The other themes do not allow for custom backgrounds. 

Show Donation Goal?

This setting allows you to show a goal on your appeal display. All the themes require a goal turned on and set to work properly. This setting allows the theme to accurately show their remark 


What is this item's goal? 

This setting allows you to type in the goal for your fund-a-need. Based on this setting, the system will accurately show your donation progress in relation to the theme you chose. 


Donation Buffer 

This setting allows you to add offline donations to the appeal display. This setting works as a running total and will only increase the total raised number. 


Show Donor Names? 

This setting allows you to show donor names or hide them. If you have this set to yes, the donor's first and last name will appear in the order that they donated. 


Show Sponsors? 

This setting allows you to show your sponsor images at the bottom of the appeal display. The system will grab your images from Software Settings > Sponsors and display them in a white box at the bottom of the appeal display. Not showing sponsors will remove the white box at the bottom. 


Include Text to Give Donations? 

This setting allows you to include donations submitted via text to give. This setting will show the donor's first and last name and add their donated amount to the total raised on the appeal display. 


Beginning Date for Text to Give Donations

This setting helps exclude older text to give donations from being included in your appeal display. You can set a specific date as to when you would like to count text to give donations. 


Show Totals on Bid Site? 

This setting allows you to show your donation item progress on the bidding site. After a bidder donates, they are shown your total raised amount. This field is unavailable for customization. 


Background Image

This setting allows you to upload a custom background image for the appeal display. The recommended size of 1920 x 1280.


Embedding the Appeal Display on your Landing Page

Go Software Settings > Landing Page Content > Any section (A-D)  

  • Click on the Icon shown highlighted below and select the desired option, Appeal Display. This creates a shortcode on your landing page 
  • Replace the ALL CAPS VALUES (DONATION ITEM NUMBER) with the item donation number. 
  • EX: [appeal item =105]
